For a second year, a fan-run auction, MSF Auction Site for fans of David Hewlett, is collecting money, as fans of David Hewlett (McKay on Atlantis), for his favorite charity.

David requests that fans do not send him gifts but, instead, send a donation to the Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders foundation. In the spirit of this, and as a celebration of his birthday, the auction is again taking place. The auction will run from March 18 through April 6.

Last year, the auction took in 1054.18 GPS (or approximately EUR 1549, USD 2097, CAD 2317 or AUD 2529) in money that was donated to the MSF/DWB foundation.

This year, a few items, signed by Torri, are up for auction, as well as other signed items by Atlantis cast members, items from the TV show "Lost" and "Heroes." New items are always being added, and they will also gladly accept any items donated for the auction.
